About Me

Lisa Osta has been a photographer since she was a teenager in the 1970's. She has a B.F.A. in Photography from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. She loves to travel and participate in Photography Workshops and Photo Tours. Her photo interests are travel, street, portrait, flower, garden, some landscape and abstracts as well as concert photography.

"I started my photography career at the top working as a stringer for the New York Times before I finished High School doing assignments for weekend sections. I also specialized in concert photography and sold photos and buttons at concerts, even now occasionally I run into people 40+ years later who still have some of those items.  I soon became a  sports photographer for the NYC Marathon and all their many races and events throughout the year. At that time I began selling my work for advertising and editorial publications.

I progressed to doing studio and still life photography assisting many photographers in New York and San Francisco while in my 20's while attending college and for a time after. Since that time I have continued my love affair with photography often shifting my favorite genre with my interests and life choices all through photography has been a constant intrigue."
